This exhibition features garments from Fashion Fusion, an annual competition presented by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the award-winning Fashion Design program at Houston Community College (HCC).

 

Now in its seventh year, HCC students and alumni designed original outfits inspired by works of modern and contemporary art in the Nancy and Rich Kinder Building at the Museum. The students and alumni entered their designs into one of four representative categories: Light and Reflection, Architecture and Geometry, Abstraction and Expressionism, and Reimagined and Sustainable.

John Paul Torres – In the Grays | Reimagined and Sustainable winner

Dariana Velazquez – All You Have Left | Reimagined and Sustainable winner
