Dr. Matthew Griffis, Assistant Professor of the University of Southern Mississippi, will present on his IMLS grant funded research on segregated Carnegie libraries as spaces for learning and community-making in pre-civil rights America. Hosted by the Houston Metropolitan Research Center on Thursday April 12, 2018 from 6-8 pm at the African American Library at the Gregory School.
