Artist, Regina Agu, will highlight the work of Amiri Baraka, an African American writer of poetry, drama, fiction, essays and music criticism. Commemorating the one-year anniversary of his passing, she will explore his lectures and other intersections with Houston and institutions such as Rice University, Texas Southern University and The Menil Collection. The program will include poetry readings, performance, and discussion.
