Houston is home to over 250 buildings that have found a position on the National Register of Historic Places. From the Art Deco 1940 Air Terminal Museum to the Italian Renaissance design of the Niels Esperson Building to the uniqueness of the Astrodome, the country’s fourth largest city includes all varieties of architectural styles.

This exhibition showcases some of Houston’s architectural treasures from areas including Downtown, Third Ward, and the Heights by featuring many of the Houston Metropolitan Research Center’s frequently requested blueprints and drawings.
